This award comes courtesy of the people over at The Dull, Unadventurous Life of Mine and I’d like to say thank you very much for your kind words and nomination. I’ll gladly accept this award and I look forward to answering yet another series of questions. So before we begin, I’ll give a quick rundown of the rules.
1. Each nominee must link back the person who nominated them.
2. Answer the 10 questions which are given to you by the nominator.
3. Nominate 10 other bloggers for this award who have less than 200 followers (sorry, none this time I used them all last time)
4. Create 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
5. Let the nominees know that they have been nominated by going to their blog and notifying them.
Shall we begin?
1. What is your favorite film/movie?
Hmm, this is a tough one actually. You’re really starting off with the hard ones eh? I’ll be frank here (not the person I mean), I don’t really have a favorite movie. Sure I’ve got tons of movies I love a lot, but none I could really call my all time favorite movie. Although 5 Centimeter Per Second comes very close to that. If you haven’t seen 5Cm Per Second before, I highly, highly recommend downloading in full 1080p HD off the Blu-Ray, put your headphones on and just sit back and be amazed. Oh and bring tissues too, lots and lots of ’em. Just for the hell of it though, I’ll say my favorite movie is… The Dark Knight Rises.
See what I did there? *wink, wink*
2. What influenced you to start blogging?
Probably the fact I had this account sitting around collecting dust. As I’ve mentioned, I accidentally created a WordPress account one day and since then I was always considering starting a blog. I guess what influenced me was the sheer curiosity of it. I wanted to try something exciting and new and blogging seemed to be that thing. Plus being a writer, I had a good advantage too.
3. What is your aim in life?
Hmm…. my aim…. I guess what most people strive for. Get a decent job, get married, maybe have a family, I’m not sure how to answer really. I guess if that’s an aim in life, then that’s what I’ll aim for. It was a broad question, I’ll give a broad answer. Moving on.
4. Who is your favorite actor/actress?
Like with the movie question, I don’t really have a favorite actor. Sure I like some actors/actresses, but I can’t really think of a favorite. But just because I don’t want to leave a question unanswered, I’ll say Daniel Craig. He’s an awesome James Bond.
5. Where do you want to live and why?
Being born and raised in Canada, I don’t actually mind it here too much. I mean the country on a whole, the town where I live is total shit. I like the city though, the province’s capital, Victoria, is nice, but I recently got to go to Vancouver this summer on a day trip. I think if I got a really good job (like super high paying) I could like it there. Plus I’d fit in with my Mercedes Benz SLS AMG. This video has a few pointers about living in Vancouver.
6. Can’t believe I’m doing this… My friend wants to know: Who is your favourite teletubby?
I don’t have a favorite because I’ve spent years eradicating that true evil from my early childhood. I swore I’d do whatever it took to rid those satanic nightmares from me, please don’t bring them back.
7. If you could time travel, what time/date would you travel to and why?
8. What is one feature you like about yourself?
That’s an interesting question actually, it’s not something I think about at all really; but looking at this objectively I think being tall is pretty good. Nothing against short people, but once you’re tall, it’s pretty awesome. You can get that box of cookies on the top shelf, see over people in a crowd, and generally no one wants to mess with a tall guy.
9. Favorite season and why?
That’s an easy one, summer. I like summer because where I live we don’t get warm weather that much, it’s usually just cloudy and raining a lot. Occasionally we get nice stretches, but just as a whole I like the summer season. Plus there isn’t any school either.
10. Who has been the most influential person in your life?
I’m legitimately not sure how to answer this one. By default I feel I should say my parents have been, but the past 8 years haven’t exactly been ones I can look back on and say they’ve been a huge help… but maybe my sister has been someone I can call influential in my life. It was her after all who got me into writing so I do thank her for that, had she not I’m seriously not sure where I’d be this very moment or what I’d be doing with my life. So I guess my sister has been a huge influence in my life, and I thank her for it too.
Well there you have it, my answers to your questions. Thanks again for nominating me, I’m very happy get another award and it really makes me excited seeing how my blog is getting all this attention.
So I’m not sure what to do now, I don’t follow many blogs really and the ones I do follow are well over 200 followers. The ones that aren’t just kinda got this award within the past few weeks, so I don’t really feel like handing them the same award… so I feel bad about breaking this chain. I will make it up though, I’ll post a series of questions here and anyone can answer them if you feel like it. You don’t have to answer them all, hell you can pick and choose which ones you want to answer. Here goes!
1: Apple or PC?
2: Do you play sports? If so, what do you play?
3: What’s your favorite book?
4: What’s your favorite vacation destination?
5: Does it snow where you live?
6: What is one quality you like most in a person?
7: Do you enjoy blogging? Why?
8: What is your favorite type of music?
9: You’re taking the elevator at the mall when a really cute girl gets in too, it’s just the two of you now and she’s glanced over at you a few times, do you say something to her? If so, what?
10: Are you on Twitter?
So there are my questions for the general public to answer if you feel like it. Thank you once more for nominating me and I’m glad to add this to my award page.
