If you’ve been following my blog for some time now, then you might remember that last year in July (or was it August?) I had the toenail on my right big toe removed. Very bloody process, I don’t recommend trying it out. Anyways I thought that saga was over and done with, but oh no it’s still continuing. Yes I understand that it does take time for toenails to grow back, but at this point in the game I had thought things would be normal again. Turns out life isn’t that easy.
So rather recently something’s been happening with my toe and it’s looking kinda weird. No, I won’t share pics and it’s not something you’d want to see pics of anyways. Back to what I was saying; so my toe’s getting a little weird and after a good 2 weeks (still not telling mom right away) I finally decided to tell mom about it. While she was a bit worried, she didn’t freak out. I guess that’s what kept me from telling her. Anyways, today I went to the walk in clinic to get this looked at my a professional.
While I can’t remember the name of the women who I spoke with, she was able to tell me the problem with my toe and what to do to fix it. She also mentioned that I should see a specialist too, someone who deals specifically with feet (podiatrist is the correct term I believe). But as luck would have it there aren’t any good ones in the area. Yet another reason why I hate this town, you can’t even see the right medical personnel needed to help you with a problem. Oh how I long to leave this shithole behind one day and move somewhere else.
So pretty much I’ll have to go to Victoria (seeming like the holy land) to see the podiatrist who can better tell me what exactly I can do to make this problem better. I did (well mom did actually) buy this cream stuff for my nail that apparently works (according to the pharmacist) so I’ll be trying this out for the next while in an effort to get my toenail back to normal.
Before I end this I’d like to say that don’t ever fuck your toenails up, okay? It’s a time consuming and gross process and if you have it get it removed, well it’s just even more of a hassle. So be careful with your nails, don’t fuck around and do stupid shit and keep your feet clean. Not that I don’t do these things, but it’s my fault for not dealing with this sooner as it might not have ended like this. So for real here, I’m not trying to be dramatic or anything, I’m speaking from personal experience and this is something you should really try to avoid having to go though. If you have been through similar things, I feel you and I’m sorry you had to go through it. Unless it was your own fault, then I’m not sorry.
Alright then, that’s all I’ve gotta say for now. I might post some follow up to this if and when I have more info on my toenail and the future that awaits it. Until then, stay safe.
Anime Corps is looking forward to another amazing year. Why not take a moment and stop by to check it out?
If you noticed any spelling and/or grammar errors, please let me know so I can fix them. Thanks!
