Off the Island with Nick: Sensory Overload

Uh…. sorry?

Well here we are a month later from when this event actually took place, but hey at least I’m actually writing this post.

So as it’s my own fault for taking so long with this, I’ve forgotten details about this trip so I can’t fully tell you just how good it was. If you follow me on Twitter and were around that day, then you probably remember the things that I did. But anyways this is going to be mostly just the pics that I took and a little text here and there. Alright then, let’s start.

Up next we took a quick drive by the massive University of British Columbia (UBC).

Out of the many cars I saw, I barely got any pics as it’s hard to get pics when in the city. I did however snap this one of the BMW i8 at the dealership. Not pictured is the Ferrari, Bentley, Audi, Porsche, and Aston Martin dealerships. I saw so many amazing cars that day, it was truly special.

While downtown I stopped in at the library, which is utterly amazing.

IMG_20150522_114637 IMG_20150522_114744 IMG_20150522_114914After run around downtown where Dad was at the hospital for some check ups (that was the whole reason for this trip) we stopped and ate lunch at a nice park.

Science Center!

DSC_0342The next huge chunk is the Ikea visit in which I thought I might die in that store.

I thought I've never leave that store.
I thought I’ve never leave that store.

From there we ended up at a bar for some food before catching the ferry home again. Honestly I’d have liked to stay at the bar longer as we left just as the live music was starting up, but we needed to catch the ferry home so there wasn’t a choice.

Words cannot begin to describe how good this was. Literally one of the best meals I've ever had.

And that was a brief look at my trip to the mainland. As the title implies it was a very exhausting experience as I’m not used to seeing that much in one day. I’d love to go back and see more though as just one day isn’t enough, plus I never got a chance to have a meet up with my Vancouver followers. Sorry once again that this post is coming so late, I’ll try to have things out soon in the future.

If you still follow this blog, thank you; I’ll try to keep getting posts out in the coming days so you can continue to enjoy fresh new content here.

Until next time, I’ll cya later!
