It’s that time of year again!

Hello and welcome back to a special annual post featuring a look at the calendar I’ll be using for 2016. Like the past few years I’ve bought the Kantoku calendar as I absolutely love his work, easily my top favorite artist out there. So as this is basically just a look at the contents of the calendar, let’s jump right in and take a look.

Initial thoughts: wow, this calendar is stunning! Pictures can’t do it justice as they fail to bring out the rich, vivid colors in each picture. For example, March has such an amazing pink to it yet I couldn’t get that to come across when taking a picture. August is also rich with color, the yellow of Hiromi’s dress really pops off the page. That’s something I’ve noticed with the past two Kantoku calendars, the colors are always so rich and vibrant, and I love that so much about them. It seems like each year they keep getting better and better and for 2016 he’s really gone all out for this calendar.

So yeah this was totally with the price, only $54 Canadian, cheaper if you live in America though, as it’s yet another 12 months of gorgeous pictures of cute anime girls. If you’ve got the funds available and are currently thinking about which 2016 calendar to get, I highly recommend this one as it’ll look amazing on the wall of your room. November’s pic might be a tad bit lewd for some, but aside from that it’s fantastic. If I were to score this one I’d give it a perfect 10, but even then that seems too low. I can’t say enough good things about this calendar as it really is best to just experience it in person to get the full effect.

Bringing this to a close now, I’d like to thank J-List first of all for supplying the calendar. Be sure to check out their full selection here. Just keep in mind there are a few 18+ things there too, so probably best not to view in public. Canada Post gets a shout out too for delivering it on time, thanks for that. I’ll also link you some scans someone did of the calendar, they make great wallpapers too. But even as HD as the scans are, they still aren’t the same as seeing it in person. Case and point, the scan of March, the pink is extremely washed out and looks terrible. After seeing what it really looks like, the scan detracts so much from the whole enjoyment of the picture. So yes this is yet another reason why you should get this calendar. I’m serious, the rich and vibrant colors will really blow you away. 100% guarantee it.

Okay then that’s all for this post. Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed the pics and I’ll cya guys next time!
